No Malo-lactic fermentation and no new oak used in the aging of Waugh Chardonnay. The wine is barrel fermented in 100% neutral oak and the lees is stirred at minimum once a
week, which accounts for its incredible mouth feel. This Chardonnay has an understated nose of ripe apples and apricots with a creamy/yeasty undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate provides nice richness from lees stirring, with plenty of pure stone fruit and citrusy flavors supported by refreshing acidity, finishing long & creamy.
